Anatomically, the shoulder model shows a part of the upper arm, shoulder blade and heel bone - therefore also the shoulder joint and the acromioclavicular joint. Uses. rubber shows the model ligaments that belong to the two joints. In addition, the manufacturer has used the same type of rubber (and the same color) to illustrate labrum in the shoulder joint (unfortunately not seen in the pictures) as well as the long biceps from m. Biceps brachii.When it comes to movement, the joint model is not flexible and therefore cannot be used to demonstrate the different movements in the shaft. However, one can create a small movement by gently pulling the legs.
Clinically, the model is ideal for understanding disorders such as frozen shoulder, osteoarthritis of the acromioclavicular joint, debt instability and bicep tendinitis. Of course, it can also be used to understand cracks, images and sprains.
