Shoulder model with muscles and ligaments

This model shows the main muscles and ligaments of the shoulder. The model is slightly reduced which corresponds to the size of a teenager or adult with a small body.

Included in the package is an A5 size information card. It shows a picture of the model with lines between the model's muscles and the Latin names of the muscles. 

The model is delivered on a removable stand and the information card can be mounted on the stand. 

Anatomically, the model shows part of the upper leg, shoulder blade and clavicle. Thus, the shoulder joint and the acromioclavicular joint are seen. Some of the shoulder ligaments (ligaments), part of the long biceps tendon from m. Biceps brachii and the 4 muscles of the rotator cuff (m. Subscapularis, m. Supraspinatus, m. Infraspinatus and m. Teres minor) are also seen. 

In terms of movement, the model is not flexible and therefore cannot be used to demonstrate the different movements in the shaft. The mentioned muscles cannot be released from the model. 

Clinically, the model is perfect for understanding impingement syndrome, rotator cuff and bicep tendinitis. It can also be used to understand disease conditions such as frozen shoulder, acromioclavicular joint osteoarthritis, shoulder instability, fractures and sprains.
