The elastic discs prevent an unnatural gap from forming between the vertebral body and the disc when the spine bends. All bone parts are cast from a natural spine and show all structures, fissures, foramina and processes with anatomical accuracy. In addition to this exact reproduction of the individual vertebrae, special emphasis has been placed on mobility. By using an unbreakable, movable metal tube, the spine is permanently flexible and even after years of intensive use it is still as mobile as on the first day.
