This soft model of the female pelvis is an alternative to our hard plastic pelvic models.

The pelvic model is developed from fabric filled with foam rubber. The material is durable, flexible and soft. The model weighs quite a lot and is very easy to transport. It cannot be separated.

In relation to birth preparation and birth demonstration, the pelvic model is particularly suitable for use in combination with a fetal doll. The fetus can be pulled through the pelvis in various ways while dealing with various problems, such as pelvic connection lines (conjugata vera, etc.).

Anatomically, the model shows the female pelvis. As with the male, the pelvis consists of the three building blocks, which are the two hip bones and the sacrum. The model also shows the two lower vertebrae. Overall, the model shows the following bones:

Os coxae (the two hip bones) which both consist of

          - Os ischii (sit bones)

It is developed in fabric filled with foam rubber and therefore several of the bones do not appear life-size in size and shape. Despite this, the pelvic ring as a whole is quite similar.
