The Advanced Multipurpose Venous Training Arm combines the features required for IV, IM and subcutaneous injection training. It is designed to help participants practise and gain proficiency in essential nursing procedures such as venipuncture, IV administration, blood collection, infusion and intravenous injection.

The arm and hand feature a subtle venous network with the cephalic, basilic, antecubital, radial and ulnar veins. A distinct “pop” can be felt as the needle enters the vein. A squeeze bulb increases or decreases venous pressure so that the veins stand out or collapse, and a clenched fist and tourniquet position can be simulated.

An intramuscular injection site is located in the deltoid area, and subcutaneous injection areas are found on the volar side of the forearm and the lateral side of the upper arm. The arm also has a TB test site. Skin and veins are easy to replace, and the arm is mounted on a base with stand.
