Training arm for venipuncture, blood collection and infusion

The IV training arm is designed to help participants practise and gain proficiency in essential nursing procedures such as venipuncture, IV administration, blood collection, infusion and intravenous injection.

The arm has a prominent multi-vein network with simulated cephalic, basilic, antecubital, radial and ulnar veins. Learners can practise infusion technique, blood collection with artificial blood and intravenous bolus injection.

The arm can simulate a clenched fist or tourniquet position, and collapsed veins can also be simulated. A distinct pop is felt as the vein is entered, and both the veins and the outer skin are self-sealing. The arm sits on a base with a stand.
