Practise injection techniques on a child's arm
The training arm represents the arm of a five-year-old patient and is used to practise essential nursing skills such as intravenous injection, infusion and blood collection with artificial blood. The arm has a lifelike venous structure, and the back of the hand has two veins for additional intravenous practice.
The flexor and lateral sides of the forearm contain sites for subcutaneous injection, and the deltoid contains an intramuscular injection site. A squeeze bulb simulates either collapsed or distended veins. The skin and veins withstand multiple needle sticks and are easy to replace.
Applications
- Intravenous injection and infusion
