Enlarged Model of Lumbar Vertebrae with Herniated Disc
Pedagogical Demonstration Tool
This anatomical model shows two lumbar vertebrae at approximately twice the natural size and is designed to clearly demonstrate a lateral herniated disc. When the vertebrae are pressed against each other, the inner core (nucleus pulposus) protrudes through a crack in the disc and forms a herniated disc, which illustrates the pressure that occurs against the spinal nerves.
Features and benefits:
- Clearly shows how a herniated disc occurs
- Graphic representation of nerve compression
- Easy to handle and use in teaching
- Enlarged scale for clarity even in group settings
Perfect for patient information, physiotherapy, schools and medical education
This practical and educational tool makes it easy to explain the mechanisms behind pain and nerve damage in herniated discs in a visual and understandable way.
