Dry disinfection with UV-C

The Germix HQ disinfects tools with UV-C light at a wavelength of 254 nm, without chemical solutions and without high heat. Tools do not become blunt or damaged. The lamp switches off automatically when the drawer is opened, protecting both you and your client.

Suitable for

Scissors, combs, brushes, nippers, tweezers and razor blades in hair and beauty salons. Tools should be cleaned and dry, and multi-part tools should be taken apart so the light reaches every surface. One cycle takes 30–45 minutes.

UV-C is a supplementary method that acts on living microorganisms but not on spores. It does not replace sterilisation in an autoclave.
