Model - 4 stages of osteoarthritis (OA) in the shoulder joint

This set contains four reduced shoulder models that clearly illustrate the progression of degenerative joint disease (OA) in the glenohumeral joint. The models show changes from a healthy stage to advanced osteoarthritis.

Normal stage: complete scapula with intact cartilage and joint structure.

Early stage: erosion of articular cartilage and initial degenerative changes.

Progressive stage: clear disease development with osteophytes (bone spurs) at the joint surfaces.

Advanced stage: marked flattening of the humeral head and acromioclavicular osteoarthritis.

All models are equipped with visible ligaments for increased anatomical understanding.
