Knee models

A knee model (plastic knee) is seen in many general practitioners and in many hospitals. In our range you will find very different knee models.

You will find mainly relatively simple knee models with a focus on bones and ligaments. On these models you can see, for example, the femur (thigh bone), patella (kneecap), fibula (leg bone) and tibia (shin bone). Ligaments are also seen such as ligament. tibial collateral ligament (medial collateral ligament), lig. fibular collateral ligament (lateral collateral ligament), lig. posterior cruciate ligament (posterior cruciate ligament), lig. cruciatum anterius (anterior cruciate ligament), lig. meniscofemoral posterius and some of the quadriceps tendons.

In the range you will also find a reduced knee model with a cross-section of the knee joint (articulatio-genus), a knee model with a meniscus wound and a very flexible model with both ligaments and muscles, where the latter can be removed.

Clinically, for example, the knee model can be used to understand knee injuries and especially ligament injuries. These can be injuries / disorders such as meniscus injuries, mice, patellar elimination (kneecap joint), patellar fractures, kneecap and injuries to the cruciate ligament and lateral ligaments.
