Female pelvis with ligaments, median section through pelvic floor muscles, 6-part.This 6-part model of a female pelvis in life size represents detailed information about the topography of bones, ligaments, pelvic floor muscles and female pelvic organs. The entire pelvic floor is shown, with partially removable structures in cross-section - external anal sphincter, external urethral sphincter, deep and superficial perineal and bulbospongiosus. The rectum, uterus with fallopian tubes and ovaries are also removable and can be separated into two median-cut halves. The right pelvic half demonstrates the regions and topographic anatomy of the common pelvic artery, the external and internal arteries and also the common iliac vein and the external. The right sacral plexus, right sciatic nerve are also shown. Bones and ligaments presented: Two hip bones, pubic symphysis, sacrum and coccyx, fifth lumbar vertebra with intervertebral disc. A median cut through the fifth lumbar vertebra, sacrum and coccyx allows both pelvic halves to be taken apart, revealing part of the cauda equina in the spinal canal. The left half of the 5th lumbar vertebra is removable. The right half of the model demonstrates the following pelvic ligaments: Ligament inguinale, Ligament sacrotuberale. Ligament sacrospinosus. Ligament sacroiliaca ant, Ligament iliolumbaris, Ligament longitudinale ant, Ligament interosseus sacroiliaca, Ligament sacroiliaca post and obturator.
