Returns and Refunds
We want shopping at Swehealth to be simple and clear. Here you will find information about the right of withdrawal, returns, return shipping, refunds and complaints.
How long is my right of withdrawal?
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive. The withdrawal period starts on the day you, or a person designated by you, receive the goods. If the order is delivered in several parts, the period starts when you have received the last part.
The right of withdrawal applies to consumers. Business customers have no statutory right of withdrawal, but we also offer businesses a 14-day return option on stock items.
How do I withdraw from my purchase?
Notify us within the withdrawal period that you wish to withdraw from the purchase, for example by e-mail to info@swehealth.com. State your name, address, order number and which goods you wish to return. You may also use the EU model withdrawal form, but this is not required. It can be worded as follows: “To SweHealth Worldwide AB, Magasinsgatan 17, 903 27 Umeå, Sweden, info@swehealth.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: … / Ordered on … / received on … / Name of consumer … / Address of consumer … / Date …”
We will send you a return address and instructions. The goods must be sent back to us no later than 14 days after you notified us of your withdrawal.
In what condition should the goods be returned?
You may examine the goods in the same way as you would in a shop. Send the goods back well packed, preferably in the original packaging, together with accessories and any other contents included in the delivery.
If the goods have been handled more than necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, and have therefore decreased in value, we are entitled to make a deduction from the refund corresponding to the loss in value.
Who pays for return shipping?
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you pay the cost of returning the goods. You can arrange the return with a carrier of your choice or book the return through us.
Estimated return cost: small parcels (e.g. TENS and massage devices) typically cost about €10–30. Large items shipped on a pallet (e.g. treatment tables and treatment chairs) can cost considerably more, about €150–250 depending on size, weight and destination. Contact us for an exact quote.
If you make a complaint about a defective item, we pay reasonable return costs.
When will I get my refund?
We refund the full amount you have paid, including the original delivery cost, no later than 14 days from the day we received your notice of withdrawal. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard delivery, we only refund the cost of standard delivery.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back.
The refund is made using the same payment method as the original purchase, unless we agree otherwise.
Are there special terms for made-to-order goods?
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, for example treatment tables from Delta/Lojer manufactured with dimensions, colour or equipment chosen by you.
For business customers only: when custom-ordered tables are returned for reasons not attributable to a fault on Swehealth’s part, the price of the goods is refunded less a 20 percent deduction and the shipping cost.
What do I do if the product is defective or damaged?
As a consumer, you have the right under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (and the corresponding EU rules) to complain about defects in goods for three years from the date you received them. Defects that appear within two years are presumed to have existed at delivery, unless otherwise proven. Make your complaint within a reasonable time after discovering the defect – a complaint made within two months is always considered to be in time.
We bear the risk for the goods until you have received them. Transport damage is therefore covered by your right to complain.
Contact us, state your order number and describe the problem. Please attach photos or video of the product, the defect and any damaged packaging – this helps us handle your case faster.
Do the products have a warranty?
In addition to your statutory right to complain, Swehealth offers a 1-year warranty on our products, unless otherwise stated. The warranty applies from the date of purchase, and a receipt or order confirmation must be presented.
The warranty does not cover goods that have been stored or assembled incorrectly, used in an unsuitable or incorrect manner or for a purpose other than that intended, or demo units.
The warranty is an addition to, and does not limit, your statutory consumer rights.
