Set from Rikepa with fetal model A (light skin tone) and a placenta model with umbilical cord and fetal membranes. It is used by midwives, schools and hospitals to show how the fetus is connected to the placenta and the fetal membranes.
Fetal model A
- Size of a full-term newborn
- Flexible body that can be placed in different birth positions
- Umbilical cord attaches with a snap fastener
- Movable hard-plastic head with the large and small fontanelles and the sagittal suture

Placenta
- Approx. 20 cm in diameter, with painted villi on the maternal side
- Umbilical cord and amniotic sac with transparent amnion (light blue) and chorion (light brown), so the fetus is visible inside
- The amniotic sac closes with a cord
The fetus and placenta connect with a snap fastener and fit inside the knitted uterus model (sold separately). The set can be combined with the foam pelvis or the female pelvic skeleton.
