It includes both the male and the female genital organs.The model weighs about 2 kg and is 40 cm tall, so it does not take up much space and is easy to transport.15 parts can be removed separately, and the model is delivered on a white stand.A laminated A4 sheet with the names of the structures (in English) is included.Anatomically the model shows the head, torso, shoulders and the top of the thighs. In the chest cavity you can see the musculature, the remaining part of the lungs, the trachea, the main bronchi, the oesophagus and the diaphragm. In the abdominal cavity you can see the musculature, the spleen, the large arteries and veins, the kidneys, the adrenal glands and the ureters, as well as an indication of the iliac crest, the sacrum, nerves and the musculature of the pelvis.Compared with its size, the model has many anatomical details, for example a cross-section of the head (from the skullcap to the lower jaw) showing the brain, the oral cavity, the nasal cavity and the neck; a divisible heart showing the two valve systems (all 4 valves are visible), the thicker muscle wall of the left ventricle and an indication of the inner surface of the atria and ventricles; a flap of the intestine that can be lifted at the ileocaecal junction so the lumen can be seen; and a unique opportunity to see female and male genital organs incl. rectum and bladder, which (together with the internal genital organs) are very detailed.Clinically, the model can be used to explain conditions related to one of the many tissues shown on the model.
