Amy Arm – practise intraosseous access in the humerus
Intraosseous access is a skill that needs to be practised. Amy Arm is a training arm for intraosseous access in the humeral head, used in the training of paramedics, nurses and physicians.
The puncture pads are designed so that the resistance feels lifelike and the loss of resistance on penetration can be clearly felt.
The arm attaches securely to a table with suction cups. The pads are replaceable, so only the pad needs to be changed when worn rather than the whole model. The trainer is lightweight and robust, which makes it well suited to courses and mobile training.
