Skills station for intraosseous infusion and femoral access in children
This training leg is mounted on a stand for use as an independent skills station for two paediatric procedures: intraosseous infusion and femoral vascular access.
For intraosseous infusion practice, the model has palpable landmarks including the patella, tibia and tibial tuberosity, replaceable bones and skin, and a pressurised system that allows fluid to be aspirated.
For femoral access, the leg has a palpable arterial pulse, flashback of blood-like fluid from a pressurised venous system and a replaceable injection pad. The leg is articulated so that it can be positioned correctly.

- Paediatric intraosseous infusion
