This simulator is used to train epidural anaesthesia and lumbar puncture. It is made of lifelike materials that provide a realistic touch and feel during palpation.
The life-size model has an anatomically correct spinal column covering the region from T7 to L5, with all important landmarks for palpation. The needle meets true-to-life resistance, and a distinct pop can be felt during injection. Training can be performed with the patient in the left or right lateral position.
