Practise IV puncture while interacting with a simulated patient
This strap-on IV puncture pad brings more realism to standardised patient programmes. The pad is strapped to the arm or leg of an actor or training partner, so learners can practise IV puncture and communicate with the patient at the same time – without puncturing the patient.
The replaceable pad has two replaceable veins and is connected by a tube to a pressure infusion bag. The tube can be hidden under clothing so the set-up interferes as little as possible with the role play.
