Foldable electric wheelchairs for home and travel

Joystick-controlled electric wheelchairs powered by two electric motors and a removable lithium battery. All our models fold for transport in a car and have both electric and manual driving modes, so a companion can push the chair if the battery runs out. The models differ mainly in weight (from just under 12 kg without battery), range, maximum user weight (115–150 kg) and wheel size.

Compare our electric wheelchairs

The table shows the figures that set the models apart most. The weight is the wheelchair without battery. The range is the manufacturer's figure and depends on surface, slopes, temperature and the user's weight. All models fold and have both electric and manual driving modes.

How to choose an electric wheelchair

  • Will the chair often be lifted into a car? Choose a light model such as FLY, GO TIM or SMART. The battery is removed separately.
  • Does the user weigh more than 120 kg? FortiGO and i.FOLD take 150 kg, POWER 130 kg.
  • Lots of outdoor use, gravel or hills? Pneumatic rear wheels and 2 × 250 W motors (POWER, i.FOLD) give more comfort and power on uneven ground.
  • Long distances? Compare the range. It is stated for ideal conditions; expect a shorter range in the cold and on hills.

Frequently asked questions

Can the electric wheelchair be used without power?

Yes. All models in the table have a manual mode, so an attendant can push the chair if the battery runs out.

Can I take the electric wheelchair on a plane?

Rules for lithium batteries are set by the airline. Contact the airline well in advance and have the battery's voltage and capacity (V and Ah) to hand; the figures are on the product page.
