Neck massager with TENS and heat

Neck massage TENS – neck massager with heat

Neck massager with built-in TENS electrodes and infrared heat, shaped as a U that sits around the neck. The electrodes are part of the unit itself and deliver electrical impulses (TENS) to the neck muscles, while the heat function warms the area during the massage. The neck massager is used for relaxing massage of the neck and shoulders, at home or in the office, and suits anyone who sits still for long periods during the working day.

The unit is lightweight, wireless and charges via USB, so it can be used on the sofa, at the desk or taken along when travelling.

• TENS + infrared heat
• 3 massage programs
• 16 intensity levels
• 38/42 °C heat settings
• 15 min auto shut-off
• USB rechargeable

How to use the neck massager

Moisten the neck lightly with water, place the massager around the neck so the electrodes rest against the skin, and switch it on. Choose one of the three massage programs and start at a low intensity level. Increase step by step through the 16 levels until the massage feels right. If you want heat, select 38 or 42 °C. After 15 minutes the unit switches off automatically.

Tip: moisten the neck slightly before use for the best contact, otherwise the impulses may feel like small jolts.

The difference from a TENS unit with loose electrodes

A regular TENS unit has loose electrode pads that are attached to the skin, with cables to a separate control unit, and can be placed on different parts of the body. This neck massager is instead built for a single area: the electrodes are fixed in the U-shape, there are no cables or pads to replace, and the unit stays in place by itself. You avoid placing electrodes on your neck without being able to see, and you get heat in the same unit. If you want to use TENS on other parts of the body, a TENS unit with loose electrodes is more flexible.
