Professional ingrown nail nippers

Omi Pro-Line Podo NB-106 are professional foot care nippers with a specially designed jaw that gives easy access to ingrown nails. The jaws are joined with a recessed box joint, which gives extra force on the axis for smooth, safe and precise cuts.

Design and material

The nippers have a single spring with a lock and a satin finish with polished details. They are made of Japanese cobalt steel. According to the manufacturer, they cut along the whole blade without tearing or damaging the skin or nail, which makes the work smoother and more comfortable.

Sterilisation and care

The tool is suitable for sterilisation in an autoclave and for chemical disinfecting. According to the manufacturer, basic sterilisation is carried out at 121 °C for 15 minutes and deactivation at 132–134 °C, at a pressure of 3 bar. For chemical disinfecting, use a solution intended for the purpose and follow the solution manufacturer's instructions.

Please note that even stainless steel, regardless of the manufacturer, can be damaged under certain conditions, which may cause discolouration, pitting or corrosion. A solution that is too strong, or leaving the tool in the disinfectant for too long, can make the metal react and damage the tool.
