Right and left lung, independent

This model of lung shows the lungs in natural size incl. pulmonary port (hilum pulmonalis). The model weighs approx. 1.1 kg and the dimension is 33 x 23 x 31 cm. The two lungs are delivered on a stand.

Anatomically, the model shows the lung surface and the lungs can not be separated. 

The following details are illustrated: 

Deep fissures that divide the lungs into lobes 

Accurate reproduction of apex, base, the 2 surfaces and 2 edges 

Realistic reproduction of the surface (glossy and gray-red) and with lobules 

Realistic representation of carbon deposition in bands (due to intercostal space) 

The pulmonary port (hilum) with the main bronchus, pulmonary artery, pulmonary veins, nerves, lymph vessels and connective tissue around the structures. 

Clinically, the model can be used to understand suffering / diseases, although it is most suitable for studying and admiring the shape and surface of the lungs.
