This model demonstrates a medium-sized muscular artery with two adjacent nerves from the forearm with adjacent fatty tissue and muscles, magnified 14 times. The model illustrates the anatomy of arteries and veins as well as the basic function of the venous pump (valve function and muscle pump function). The left vein and artery in the middle demonstrate the different layers of the wall structure and transverse and vertical sections. The right vein is exposed anteriorly and demonstrates the entrance to a related vein, as well as two venous valves.
