Compared to a muscle fiber in a skeletal muscle, this model is magnified well over 10,000 times.

The model measures 23.5 x 26 x 18.5 cm and weighs 1.35 kg. It is delivered on a stand

Anatomically, the model shows the anatomical structures of a muscle fiber and its neuromuscular endplate. There are a lot of details - for example:

Sarcolemma and transverse tubules / T-tubes (the tubular inserts)

Sarcomeres (the contractile units)

Myosin and actin filaments

Nucleus, mitochondria and other organelles

Clinically, this model is ideal for understanding a muscle fiber, which is the cellular unit of skeletal muscle, and the importance of protein. It can be, for example, in the context of dietary advice on the importance of protein intake, rehabilitation, strength training or in general in the fitness industry, where hypertrophy is in focus.
