This model has been developed to provide patients with understandable information about femoral fractures and arthritis of the hip before, for example, treatment. It demonstrates the right hip joint in half life size, in an elderly person. In addition, the anterior part of the femoral neck is mounted on the stand. The model illustrates the most common femoral fractures in accidents and normal wear and tear of the hip joint (coxarthrosis or hip arthritis).
