Multipurpose Venous Training Arm for IV, IM and Subcutaneous Injection

One training arm for several injection techniques

The multipurpose training arm offers all the features of an intravenous training arm and can also be used to practise intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. Students can practise administration, blood collection and aseptic technique in a safe, sanitary learning environment.

The arm has a distinctive venous plexus with simulated cephalic, basilic, antecubital, radial and ulnar veins. The veins and outer skin reseal after puncture, and a realistic sound can be heard when the needle enters the vein. A clenched fist, tourniquet application and collapsed veins can be simulated.

The intramuscular injection site is located in the deltoid area. Subcutaneous injection areas are found on the volar side of the forearm and the lateral side of the upper arm.
