Practise intravenous injection at the elbow
This training arm gives future physicians, nurses and other healthcare staff the opportunity to practise intravenous injection. The arm is made of soft synthetic material and has a replaceable skin and a replaceable injection pad at the elbow, where the median cubital vein is represented by a tube.
The vein is visible under the skin and easy to palpate. The tension of the skin and the feel of a vein under a tourniquet are reproduced in an approximately true-to-life manner.
The vein can be compressed realistically, and a little lubricant lets you simulate a rolling vein.
Skin, vein and injection pad are available separately as spare parts, so worn parts can be replaced individually.
