Louis Leg – practise intraosseous access in the tibia
Intraosseous access is a skill that needs to be practised. Louis Leg is a training leg for intraosseous access in the proximal tibia, used in the training of paramedics, nurses and physicians.
The puncture pads are designed so that the resistance feels lifelike and the loss of resistance on penetration can be clearly felt.
The leg attaches securely to a table with suction cups. The pads are replaceable, so only the pad needs to be changed when worn rather than the whole model. The trainer is lightweight and robust, which makes it well suited to courses and mobile training.
