Practise radial artery puncture with a palpable pulse
Radial artery puncture is a common approach for arterial blood sampling and arterial catheterisation, but it is a skill that takes practice. This wrist training model is designed for practising arterial puncture with a lifelike feel.
The pulse is palpable, and the resistance of the tissue and artery wall can be felt during puncture. When placement is correct, a flashback of simulated blood can be observed. The puncture skin shows no visible puncture marks.
The skin, pad and artery tube are replaceable. The connections are leak-free one-touch fittings, and the model is easy to clean.
